Boone

Boone is our miniature Highland steer with the kindest eyes and a little tuft of hair on top of his head that looks just like a toupee. He’s known for his big, fuzzy ears and his even bigger heart.

When Boone was a calf, he suffered an injury that left him fearful and unsure of people. It took time, patience, and gentle care to help him heal, not just on the outside, but inside too. Through that journey, Boone learned to trust again, and today he’s the first one to meet you at the fence, hoping for a banana or pear (his favorite treats!).

Boone is a living picture of redemption and gentleness, a reminder that love and consistency can heal even the deepest fears.

Bitty

Bitty is our beautiful red Highland heifer with the best hair on the farm. She’s got long, fluffy bangs that often fall right into her eyes. We like to give them a little fluff now and then so she can see the world again!

She’s curious and friendly, always wandering over to greet visitors with a gentle look and a quiet confidence. Though she loves attention, Bitty’s heart belongs to Boone. You’ll almost always find the two of them side by side, exploring the pasture together. Her sweet nature and stunning locks make her one of the most loved faces at Grace Gate Farm.
